JACKIE VENSON - "Evolution of Joy"

Jackie Venson is the newest and most exciting guitar phenom to hit the music scene in quite some time.  Her exacting playing style, coupled with writing soaring voice and guitar solos, put her amongst the top list of lead guitarists from blues and rock history

Her new album, "Evolution of Joy" brings 19 newly recorded tracks for over an hour of Jackie's unique brand of fire.  The songs that include Jackie Venson and Jackie Venson the Robot are a mixing of her music that brings a whole new flavor and dimension to her new album.  It's easy to see why Jackie sold out her entire 4-engagement residency at the historic Antone's Nightclub

We will be featuring Jackie Venson soon, in an exclusive interview, and bringing you more of her amazing sound... on her own Flo2 Artist Feature & Interview page.

Follow Jackie Venson on her BandsinTown account to see her upcoming tour information.

Sherita Perez - "Cannabis Cowboy"

Sherita Perez 's musical genre can best be described currently as Outlaw Country, Gulf Coast Rockabilly... and her catalog varies beyond that.

Along with "Cannabis Cowboy", Sherita has released two other new singles, on her "Emerald" EP, "Weed and Wine" and "Hide the Evidence" which were instant new favorites.

Sherita will be coming to the Central Texas area where she'll be performing first in Lockhart, at The Rustic Tap on March 5th,  then here to Austin, at The Rustic Tap on March 6th, and at Guero's Taco Bar  on March 18th.  Follow her on her personal Bandsintown account!

ILLITERATE LIGHT - "Feb 1st"

Another soon-to-be a featured Flo2 Media performance artist, our senior editors can't get enough of this up and coming alternative duo!

Illiterate Light is releasing a new 9-song album "Sunburned" on Jan. 27th, and it is pure playlist material.  "Feb 1st" is a head banger, while "F**k LA" is a thoughtful and mesmerizing slow jam. Look out for our full album review coming soon!  In the meantime, you can buy their album at IlliterateLight.com

Illiterate Light kicked off a North American tour Jan. 26, and we highly recommend catching their show if they're in your neck of the woods!  We definitely plan on seeing them them again as soon as possible.  We hope to see our Flo2 Fam in the crowd.  Check out their tour dates and follow them on BandsinTown.
